#4--If you have a difficult or unrepentant child, how does the perspective of boasting in weakness keep you close to Jesus?

It reminds me that there is a good purpose in this and that only he has the power to change my child's heart.

And it gives us an opportunity to talk about the grace and righteousness of Christ...and it gives the child an opportunity to see/feel her need for Christ. "Perfect" kids don't have any sense of their need for Christ. So when I get frustrated or exhausted by the sin in my home, I need to remember that this revealing of our weakness is a gift that we may see and long for Christ.
